Hi all, it's Nat here! I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine we've been blessed with over the last few days.

Well, Caroline has something exciting planned for me for the next few months, and I can let you in on the secret that I will be bringing lots of scrapbooking projects your way! I know so many of you are avid cardmakers, atc artists and altered item enthusiasts, so I would absolutely love to see your scrapbook pages too!
So, until I bring you my first of these special projects in a fortnight, I thought I'd share with you some great sketch sites to get your inspirational juices flowing. We can all get stuck for some inspiration from time to time, or have a few photos that we just can't seem to organise on the page, which is when sketches become invaluable. You can follow them to the T, or you can use them to kick start your scrapping; mixing elements from one or more sketches with your own creative ideas. Here are some good sites I've found along my way, simply click each section-title to view the site:
Page Maps
By Becky Fleck - very possible the queen of sketches! Her sight is updated regularly and she has sketches for everything - 12x12, 8.5x11, 8x8, 6x6, 6x12, round pages, tags and cards. Phew! If that wasn't enough, Becky also has a section containing sketches she designs for Basic Grey, here. Honestly - there is a little inspiration here for everyone, whatever your style.
Pencil Lines
Pencil Lines is a UK challenge blog that issues a new sketch challenge for you to play along with each Sunday. The blog has a design team, so as well as just being provided with a sketch, you'll get to see several interpretations in different styles to show how versatile a sketch can be.
ScrapbooksEtc.
Sketches from this popular US magazine. The sketches are filed under easy to use categories. Anyone can browse the hundreds of sketches, but register (it's free) and you can also download them and print them off if you wish.
Scrap Maps
An oldie, but a goodie. This website has not been updated in a few years, however it is a treasure trove of great sketches for the whole variety of sizes. The sketches are nice and clear and are ripe for adaptation!
Cherie's Sketches
This is a blog I discovered very recently, and it regularly has some great page sketches which take into account current trends such as die-cut shaped papers and scalloped edges. There are also regular card sketches too.
Stickers N Fun Scrapbook Sketches
There really are hundreds of sketches here for you to discover! The diagrams are very clear, and whilst there is something that will appeal to everyone, the base of the majority of the designs are quite geometric which really appeals to the "neat and orderly" scrapper within me! The sketch lists are updated regularly so you'll never run out of inspiration.
And as for my scraps when I finish a page, I like nothing better than to use them up to make some cards - well, waste not want not and all that! Here are a couple of my favorite card sketch sites in addition to those already mentioned above:
CPS Sketches
A new card sketch each week! The DT's work is always inspirational, and the huge list of followers and participants also have a great showcase that is worth a look.
2Sketches4u
Again, a new sketch every Monday to make creating cards a synch. Followers are welcome to link their creations back to the site, which provides endless inspiration for you and me!
So, there's a whole host of inspiration for you - so there's no excuse for you all to be rustling up some beautiful creations over the next fortnight :D
Happy crafting, and long may the sunshine continue!
Nat xxx
