As you can see I'm still making 'Thank you' cards. I found this cool technique whilst browsing on one of my favourite blogs. Debossing with chipboard shapes.
You need to experiment with different chipboard shapes and cardstock. I found that using larger shapes on textured cardstock gave a better result.
The sandwich I used in the Cuttlebug was, from the bottom, A Plate, C Plate, B Plate cardstock then chipboard shape.
Supplies List
Echo Park 6 x 6 Pad - Victoria Gardens
Crepe Paper frill
Seam Binding
Simple but effective. Hope you like it.

I didn't have time to make a project this week, but just wanted to stop by and wish you all a Happy Christmas and to share a wrapping idea I found on Pinterest.
Source: alisaburke.blogspot.com via Gwen on Pinterest
All you need is a black permanent marker, a white correction fluid pen and some kraft parcel wrap.
I'm definitely going to give it a try!
I'm hoping to escape to my craft room over Christmas - while the family are watching TV - and try out some of the free holiday projects that are available to download from the Echo Park Website.
Hope you have a lovely Christmas
Love Vicky :)x

Hi Bubblers...welcome to final few projects before Christmas!
Today I have a little question for you..? When is a mini~album not a mini~album...well...when its a Christmas tree ornament of course! Its easy just to think of these albums as flat projects but my project today should hopefully convince you that with only a little tweaking, a mini~album can easily be a 3~D creation. Click here for the full details and I'll see you over there! :0)

This week I have been continuing with my Christmas spirit quest and have been experimenting in the kitchen. My husband asked me to make him some mince pies but nobody else likes them in our family. So I experimented by creating a pie in the traditional way but with our favourite autumn cupcake top. And what a success. The 2 dozen I made barely lasted a day, lol.

I'm still in a Christmas mood this week. Sorry to those readers who feel it's still a bit early!
I've been making decorations and in the spirit of the moment - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle - rather than buying, them I've been making them. I stumbled across this great project idea on You Tube - Magazine Christmas Trees.
Once you've made one you'll be hooked like me, I've made 4 already! Great to make front of the TV! :)

I don't know about you but during the lead up to Christmas, I make endless lists. Lists for food, presents, cards and the like, and I can never find them when I need them. This year I'll have no excuse. because I've made a book of lists to keep them in one place.
You can make one quite easily with just some supplies you'll probably have lying around your craft room. The how-to make it is HERE
Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper Pad - I used Echo Park - Victoria Gardens
Index Cards
Book Rings
Pom Pom Trim

Going small today and using a sheet of 6 x 6 paper to create a layout
Ingredients
Echo Park - Happy Days 6 x 6 paper pack
Melissa Frances Resin Applique - Provincial
Blue Ribbon
Here's How
First of all take a sheet from the Echo Park paper pack and inked the edges with yellow. Then use a stamp to create a border around the edge of the page.
Layer different shapes and colours from the Echo Park paper pack to create the background.
To create some texture, roll some small pieces of paper (make sure the ends are glued well otherwise the unroll!)
Glue a resin frame to a sheet of paper and when dry cut out. Adhere inbetween the rolls of paper.
Embellish with ribbon and some gem stones.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Ingredients
Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen 12 x 12 Collection
Melissa Frances Kitschy Kichen Stickers
Prima Cottage Blossoms Orchids
Cupcake shape card
Pink Buttons and Ribbon
Scallop Circle Punch
Here's How
The Kitschy Kitchen papers are perfect for making cupcake cards.
First I traced around the top of the card on to pink paper for the icing.
To create the cupcake case I took a sheet of the paper and folded it as if I was making a fan! :) I then flattened the whole thing and adhered it to the card base. Trim an excess off.
Next add the pink topping and smear on some of the stickles for some sparkle.
Add a strip of paper to the base edge of the icing and add some buttons.
Punch the scallop circle and adhere to the top with a button in the centre.
Finish the card with a prima flower, Kitschy Kitchen sticker and pink ribbon.
