Today I used the some Maya Road shapes to create a back ground for my layout.
First spritz your cardstock with some cosmic shimmer and then sand the edges to bring out the core of the card.
Make your own backing paper by putting a snowflake shape (I used the Maya Road Acrylic ones) underneath the cardstock and rub over the top with a piece of sand paper until the design is revealed. Repeat all over the page.
Ink the edges of a piece of beige paper from the Kitschy Kitchen range, rip the bottom edge off and adhere to the right side of the page. Adhere another thin strip of paper on the bottom.
Add the Prima Felt Gate to the left side of the layout and adhere a 5 x 7 photo on the right hand side.
Add a calendar month and embellish with flowers and buttons.
