I have made an embelishment out of one of a Tando Chipboard Dragonfly for my Bubbly piece this week.
Using a palet knife I gave it a thick coat of Viva Terra and whilst it was still wet I stamped into it using a deep etched rubber stamp. When it was dry I gave it a coat of bronze metallic paint. The using a piece of cut and dry foam I colloured it with Viva Inka Gold in shades of Lava Green, Steel Blue and Copper to highlight the texture.
I cut a cog from some scrap chipboard using a Tim Holtz Alterations Die and coloured this with the copper and steel blue inka gold. I layered this up with Tim Holtz Ideaology pieces to give it a steampunk look.
I finished it off by wrapped copper wire around the body to form a coil.
