Okey Dokey ... let's start with the list of stash I used
Maya Road Chip Artistic Scroll Frame Chipboard AlbumMaya Road Heart and Home pieces (out of stock at the moment)
Floor plan paper from Studio Calico Home Front collection
Grunge paperDistress ink in Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Peeled Paint and Aged Mahogany
Assortment of stamps ... all Wendy Vecchi
Idea-ology bits and assortment of brads
I started by covering one of the chip pages with the floor plan paper, sanding the edges and then covering with Spiced Marmalade Distress ink. I also made a second hole to turn this into a hanging piece by using another page as a guide.
Next I stamped a sentiment in the centre of the page ... I used Wendy Vecchi stamps ... but just grab your favourites if you want to give this a go!
I coloured the second largest frame from the book in Spiced Marmalade and stamped Aged Mahogany polka dots over the top. I also coloured a Maya Road chip house in Aged Mahogany ... stamped that ... added some lace in the window and added a grunge paper roof for some dimension. If you are giving this a go ... I wish I had used Fired Brick for the house ... Too late for me ... not for you though :0)
I then stamped, cut out and coloured some grungepaper leafs in Peeled paint and added a butterfly. These were all adhered using glossy accents.
I finally added some grunge paper flowers ... coloured with Fired Brick :0) and Spiced marmalade ... finished off with a few beads and brads ... I just need to add some ball chain to hang.
Don't forget to let us know if you give this a try ... a link would be good ... we like to have a nosy at what you make too!
