Hello Bubblers!
I thought it was about time we started making some Christmas cards, as the season is fast approaching...so i've designed a nice simple one to get us started. I hope you like it..?
Ingredients:
Christmas papers from a selection here :)
Green cardstock to make card base
Method:
Create an A6 cardblank from green cardstock and cover the front with patterned paper, making sure to only glue this down around the edges of the card. Use distress inks to age the pp and make it look vintage and add a strip of contrasting pp along the lower section of the card.
Cut a poinsettia shape out of the front of the card, through both layers of paper. You can do this either with a die or by hand. You will now have a cardblank with a hole in the front, and patterned poinsettia and a plain green poisettia. Curl the petals of the cut shapes around your fingers and glue onto the hole in the card, by placing a small circle of cardstock on the inside of the card. This will hold all the pieces together nicely.
Embellish the poinsettia middle with a Prima pebble and draw vein lines onto the green petals with a sparkly pen. Finally, run a generous line of Distress Stickles all the way around the outside of the card and set aside to dry.
