This is a M & S mint tin, which is a great size to alter, they are quick and fast to do and on the plus side to, you get to eat all the mints.
I started by lightly sanding the surface to key it up a little so it would receive all the paints etc. A little better, I then gave it a good wipe to remove any loose dust.
I applied gesso using a stiff brush and using a circular movement as I applied it to give a swirl pattern in it. When dry I applied distress ink, in Milled lavender to the surface drying it with a heat gun to set it in place. I then gave it a good spritz with cosmic shimmer in Billberry Crushso it pooled in places on the tin.
I stamped my image in black stazon. Finishing it off with embossing around the edges with Cosmic shimmer embossing powder and some Card candy
