As well as the Kit, I have used:
Chipboard letters
Acrylic Paint Dabbers in Pitch Black and Pearl
Black pen
Ribbons
Beads
Stick the text paper onto the love chipboard and the letters and trim. Cut one of the hearts the same size as the heart ‘o’ from the doodle hearts paper. Doodle on the text papers.
Stick the heart onto the ‘o’ and stick some of the doodle hearts paper onto the arrow. Doodle around this.
Stick the doodle hearts paper onto the plain heart chipboard and doodle around this. Stamp an '&' onto the paper in the middle. Apply glossy accents to the heart, add the letters while wet so they stick, then apply glossy accents onto the letters.
Apply pearl dabber to the scalloped heart. I applied 3 coats to get the coverage and texture that I wanted. Once dry, doodle around the edge.
I’ve cut one of the rub-on phrases so that it will fit onto the heart. Cut around the letters closely and apply the rub-ons, keeping the cut backing paper.
Put the backing papers back over the letters to act as a mask and stamp the flourish over the top with black stazon
Apply glossy accents to the ‘l’ and ‘v’ of the love. Once dry, put a really thick coat on the heart and ‘e’ to distinguish them from the other letters.
The reverse of the hearts and love are pearl acrylic dabber paints and doodles. The reverse of the arrow is doodle hearts paper and glossy accents. The painted surfaces don’t need glossy accents as they have a good sheen, but the paper needs it for protection against damage.
Put the chain back through the chipboard and start adding ribbons. I’ve tied a long loop of white ribbon with silver edge so that it can be held on the wrist. Tie both ends onto the top of the chain and knot purple ribbon over the join of the two white ends to hide them. Tie ribbon between the chipboard shapes to allow them to hang slightly apart.
The clear faceted beads come with the kit and I have added those and some matching beads onto a chain.
Attach them between the chipboard and you’re finished!
