Shhhhh don't tell anyone but it's my Mothers 70th birthday this month!!
As some of my blog followers may know my mother adores the Art Deco Era as she lives in an Art Deco town. So I splashed out a bit on some very special costume jewellery for her birthday and then realised that I couldn't possibly post it in the pale blue organza bag that they came in (yuck!!).
So I took a beautiful sheet of my beloved Graphic 45 paper, a spare box some strong glue and kept to the theme of glitz and glamour.
As I don't make cards I turned the box into a card at the same time by placing a lovely poem inside it.
The finished result is an ordinary present in extraordinary packaging.
You can read how I covered the box and made the tray to pop the jewellery into it HERE.
Bubbly Funk has some beautiful Mother stamps in the shop HERE
With Mothers being around the corner why don't you get crafting and see what you can make to pop that little mothers day pressie into. We'd love to see your results on the forum!!
