1. I began with colouring the base coaster in Brushed Corduroy Distress ink and stamping the polka dot pattern with Coffee Archival. I then drew around the inside of the Maya Road frame on the back of the journaling ticket and cut outside the line. I then turned the ticket over and stamped the text in Jet Black Archival. I stuck the ticket to the coaster with a glue stick and I attached the frame with glossy accents.
2. Next, I stamped some images onto Grungepaper in Jet Black Archival and cut them out.
3. I coloured the images with a blending tool using Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade and Brushed Corduroy. I coloured both sides to ensure I had no grey edges.
4. I arranged all my elements before sticking to ensure I was happy with the layout.
5. I stuck everything down with glossy accents ... added some embellishments including the pins which were white ... I have coloured them with Orange Alcohol inks.
6. I find the easiest way to add the beads for the butterflies bodies is by threading them onto a pin ... and laying them into a line of glossy accents before removing the pin.
