Hello all!
Today's offering is a Christmas LO...oh how i love to be topical! ;0) I've used the rather lovely Echo Park 12x12 Merry Christmas collection which is currently on sale in the store....here!
Its really important to me to scrap photos that are important to me and to my family...even if the photos themselves aren't great. To make the most of these dodgy shots i've cropped them to keep the important bits {the people} and grouped them together to create more of the the mood of the event...a family Christmas.
Ingredients:
Echo Park Merry Christmas collection
Buttons
Twine or string
Method:
I first cut out the large shape and the holly leaves from the paper it was on {a red background} and stuck it instead onto the rather lovely green spotty pp. Next I arranged my photos, overlapping them to create a collage effect and added in the word border stickers and two of the other stickers to complete my collage. The title was added with the letter stickers in the pack too...using both the large ones and the smaller ones...i like a mix and match title so i love it when a kit comes with lots of different alphabets...and this one has 3!!
For the finishing touches i added some buttons over the holly berries, and in various places {see the first photo} and i sewed these on with some red twine. I also added a stitched row of kisses under one of the photos and a few gems to the bows on the parcel sticker.
Now...i know its july and all...but get out there and scrap your Christmas...you know you want to really!! ;0)
