Instructions
I have showed you a couple of times how to make a faux printers tray. But {HERE} is a reminder of the basic construction.
I divided this canvas up into 25 squares to represent the advent. Once all your sections are dry, cover the whole thing with black paint. Leave to dry.
Take your patterned paper and trim sections to fit the individual boxes.
I wanted to add depth to the canvas so i mounted each piece of patterned paper onto CS. Leave a equal border around the PP. Score at the edges of the PP and fold down the borders. I used 3 different sizes of border which gives you 3 different depths. Add a dab of glue to secure each platform in place.
Next i edged the frame of the canvas in tissue tape. I used two different types.
Next i added a decorative trim using a hot glue gun. I covered the join with a die cut snowflake.
To finish i embellished with some echo park sentiments, buttons, Tando numbers and words, bells etc.
And there you go, a simple but effective piece of seasonal art to get you in the festive mood.
