Instructions
Sorry for the lack of pics but I have a sick camera.
First take you book text and cut into 1" wide strips. Ink the edges. You will need lots of strips so make plenty
Next begin to cover the polystyrene circle with the strips. Wrap one piece around the wreath and glue into place with a dab of hot glue at the back. Add another piece, gently overlapping one edge. Continue all the way round and go in the same direction to get a consistent feel.
Next gather your paper, metal, card stock etc together. I went for golds, browns and greens here. Cut a loud of leaves out using the tattered leaves die.
Once I had my leaves cut, I distressed some by scrunching them up, sanding and inking. I also stamped with christmas stamps, snow flakes etc.
Next its time to layer up. I started by adding a large wired ribbon bow as my focal point. I them began to stick leaves randomly all around the wreath, both back and front.
Once I was happy with the leaf placement, I added a large flower made from the tattered florals die. REMEMBER i showed you how to make these flower in a past project. You can find all the details HERE.
And that's it, a quick and simple wreath, that you can customise to match your christmas scheme.
