Hello peeps in cyber land - thought I would share my fabby finds with you - the altered way :D
These little beauties started life covered with bright pink glitter paper (which peeled off really easily!!) and were just begging to be altered :D
I used the glitter paper as a template by sticking it to a piece of cardstock and cutting around it - the cardstock where the heart was cut from proved very useful for choosing the images I wanted to add to my handbag mirrors as I could see how they would look and which angles I liked the best :D
Once I had my chosen image I cut it out and glued it to the compact with a little bit of glossy accents spread around with my finger tip.
I gave the paper a nice coat of Claudines matte medium and left to dry while I chose my embellies.
Once I was happy with how I was going to place them I put a generous blob of the matte medium on to the paper and placed the embellies.......now walkaway and leave to dry thoroughly.
The matte medium is amazing for sticking things down especially on items that are going to get a lot of wear and tear.
To finish off I added a generous coat of rock candy distress stickles and a accents of coloured distress stickles, then highlighted areas with viva decor inka gold.
