Ingredients:
Prima Reflections 12x12 collection
Prima Reflections glittered chipboard
Prima Reflections flourish stamps
Prima flowers Kalanchoe in Mahogany
Black and brown inkpads
Gold inkpad
Black embossing powder
Brown chipboard letters
Method:
Take the pp with the text all over it and the brown/black border all around it. This will be our base cardstock. Stick your photo down in the bottom right and using the black ink stamp a border of small flourishes all the way around the photo, overlapping onto the background. Overstamp this with a larger flourish in brown ink all the way around. Journal on one of the chipboard stickers and pop this over the top of your photo on the left hand side.
Take the leafy pp and cut out all the leaves and a couple of tendrils, and one half flower in dark brown. Stick these around your page as illustrated {or in your own way!}, raising some up on foam pads for extra interest. Add a few of the kalanchoe felt flowers for real drama.
Add extra journalling on a few strips of scrap cardstock and tuck these into the bottom right hand corner.
Add your title with chipboard stickers in the box already on the base pp.
To create the little photo frame i've simply cut a piece of pizza box into the right shape with a craft knife and then embossed it in 3 layers of embossing powder {mine is a mix of black and brown left over from a previous project}. When the embossed layer is thick enough ink the smaller flourish stamp in gold and press the stamp into the warm goo. Leave it to cool and repeat taking care not to reheat the first section or you will lose the intaglio effect. Mounnt this on a scrap of vellum and stick down on the top right hand side of your photo.
...thats all folks! a rather romantic LO that looks like it took you all day...but i won't tell anyone you did it all in an hour, if you don't ;)
Now...what are you going to do with the rest of the beautiful pp's in the collection..? Well, pop back on Mondays and you'll see what i'm doing...i don't know yet either...but i love this collection so much i'm sure i'll create things i love, and i bet you will too.
have and good week, y'all,
alix
