I used the Tando Chipboard Flower Row as the starting point for my Happy Birthday card.
Brilliance Moonlight White Ink Pad
Ribbon/Seam Binding
Muslin/Lace Fabric Scrap
Pearl Buttons
Rub on Sentiment
1. Take a tent fold A6 card blank and create a slightly smaller mat from Kraft cardstock. Ink the edges with a white ink pad.
2 . Trim 2 panels from patterned paper chosen from the Prima Romantique paper pad. The large panel 9.5 x 14cm and the smaller panel 8 x 12cm. Distress the edges with a paper distresser or the blade of your scissors.
3. Adhere the panels to the kraft card mat as shown and machine or hand stitching around the edges.
4. Create a frill by scoring a 4cm strip of patterned paper at 0.5cm intervals. Adhere the frill to a strip of cardstock and rough up the edges of the bottom edge of the frill with your fingers.
5. Take the chipboard piece and paint with your chosen paint dabber, (I used Shell pink). You may need a couple of coats!
6. When dry distress the edges of the chipboard piece with sandpaper to give it a distressed look. Add stickles to the flower petals and buttons for the flower centres.
7. Take a scrap of muslin or lace fabric and gather it up behind the chipboard flowers. Arrange and adhere to the card front together with the paper frill.
8.Wrap a piece of ribbon or seam binding around the mat where the chipboard joins the frill and tie in a bow.
9. Adhere the mat to the card front.
Thanks for stopping by Vicky :)x
