Instructions
Start by taking one of the decorative papers from the Prima reflections collection and cut out the decorative shield shape.
The Moulin rouge collection is just full of fancy papers that look like Velvet curtains and scrolls. I chose one and cut it up into pieces. Set aside for later.
Take a large photo and double mat it on two different PP's from the collection. Add to the centre of the cut shield PP. I cut out slits in some of the swirls of the base PP to slot in the photo mat.
Now take some of the scroll edges you previously cut and layer them along the bottom of the photo mat. Tie a ribbon and bow along the bottom edge at this point as well. Take a scroll glitter sticker from the collection as well and stick along the top of the photo mat.
Take 3 chipboard tags and add to the photo mat. And this is the basis of the LO done. Now its time to add the flowers for maximum impact.
Gather together a selection of prima flowers.
And make the rest of the flowers yourself. I have stumbled across a you tube video that is just wonderful and uses the Sizzix tattered florals die to make these WOW flowers. Watch the video and make yourself a couple of flowers for the LO. And you can use the leftovers to make smaller flowers.
I cut out 3 sets of florals. You will need 3 large flowers and 2 of the daisy type ones per flower. I also made smaller flowers with the same technique using the leftover 3rd sized flower and a daisy flower cut in half. And the 3rd sized flower slotted into a plain prima flower. I also used the smallest flower with buttons.
Once you have all your flowers made, ink the edges, add bling if required.
Next cut out some leaves from another PP. I hand drew some leaves and cut away the middles. I did the same but smaller. Keep the cut out bits as you can use them as well.
Next start to add your flowers. I added the two large flowers first to the right hand corner and then began adding the smaller ones. Glue with hot glue. Once happy, begin to add the leaves here and there.
Punch out some butterflies and use the stickers from the collection and randomly add around the LO to finish.
And there you go. A beautiful LO that has that WOW in flower power that didnt cost you the earth to make.
