Welcome to Monday everyone.
A country~inspired LO for you today...with a photo of the cows in my FIL's field...they are a beautiful auburn colour and perfect match for the Prima Reflections collection papers.
Ingredients:
Prima Reflections 12x12 paper collection
Prima Reflections Glittered sticker sheet
scrap of ric rac and scrap of brown ribbon for rosette tails
Wire flowers {tutorial posted previously if you missed it check it out here :) }
2 fancy pins
Distress Inkpad in Antique Linen
Method:
Matt the photograph on the spotty pp and use a paper punch to create a border pattern of tiny holes at each corner. Stick this into the middle of the page, slightly to the left leaving enough room for the title letters. Add your title along the left and top edges of your photo matt with assorted chipboard letters or cut some on the Robo or Cricut.
Take the long rubon border and cut it into 2 sections and rub on along the right~hand edge of the photo matt and cross it just below the photo matt in the bottom corner. {See the photo if you can't make sense of that sentence!!} Add the tiny butterfly rubons in the bottom cluster of printed flowers and the slightly larger ones to the top middle above your title.
Take the glittered bird sticker and using lots of tiny foam pads stick this as illustrated to highlight your title. Stick the glittered butterfly stickers to scraps of paper and cut them out. Then fold them so that they look as if they are flying and glue them in the centre only to the bottom right~hand corner.
Take a strip of the plainest pp and edge it with a border punch. Run this through a ribbler and then swipe with the Distress Ink to highlight the creases. Glue this below the photo matt and add a thinner strip onto which you have done any journalling.
On the reverse of this plain pp are the flowers i have cut out above, cut three of these out quite close to the design. Stick two of the flowers as illustrated here, one on foam pads and use a strong wet glue to attach the wire flowers we made previously. Spray your scrap of ric rac with Color Wash to achieve the right colour and dry with a heat gun. Glue into place and add two decorative pins for interest.
Take the third flower and fold it just as we did for the Everlasting Bouquet flowers and cut out the middle. Glue it firmly into place, add ribbon tails and a button centre...and we've created our own *best in show* rosette for Josie's cows!
