Hello again Bubblers!
Remember the hydrangea head I showed you how to create last week? Well this week I'm back to show you how to create a whole bush! lol I hope you give it a go...its easier than you might think...
Ingredients:
3 hydrangea heads {click here for details on how to create them}
Petaloo Colour Me Crazy Velvet Leaves
Ranger Colour Wash Spray in Lettuce
Small round mold or empty tealight holder {the deep kind}
Method:
Spray 6 of the medium sized velvet leaves with the Lettuce spray and dry with a heat gun. Make a small hole with a pokey tool in one end of each leaf and thread a length of wire through, folding over at the hole to make a double strand. Repeat this for each leaf.
Using the pokey tool again, make a hole in each hydrangea head and add a generous dollop of glue. Push a doubled over and twisted strand of wire into each hole and leave to dry.
Assemble the branches and leaves together by twisting with your fingers to hold all the pieces in place as shown above. Next melt the UTEE until it is molten and pour it into your mold or tealight holder.
While it is still liquid push the trunk of your hydrangea into the UTEE and hold in place for a a couple of minutes until it is solid enough to hold by itself. Leave the UTEE to cool thoroughly and then admire your handywork!
Happy fiddling...and have a great week...
