Here are the instructions for making these cute fabric flowers.
Ingredients
- Sizzix Bigz circle die #4 or Sizzix circles die
- Fabric
- Head band, hair clips
- Hot glue gun
- Vintage buttons, Pearls or Prima flower centres
- Needle and thread
- Big shot, vegabond etc (Contact Bubbly funk direct, available in store)
Instructions
Take a piece of fabric and put it through the big shot. You can layer up your fabric. I put mine through, 3 layers at a time.
To make your flowers you will need 5 large circles and 4 smaller ones.
Take a circle and lay it flat as your base. Next take another circle and fold in half, and half again. Stitch it to the base circle. Repeat with the remaining 3 circles.
Next take your 4 smaller circles and repeat the process, off set slightly, stitching to the larger folded circles.
Once all stitched into place, add a centre.
Make some smaller cirles for attachment. I glued a smaller flower to the back of wach flower, glued onto my head band or clip before glueing another circle over, hiding the glue.
Once you have all your flowers made, you can add to Lo's, Cards, altered projects. I added mine to some girly accessaries for me and Rebecca. I also made smaller flowers for Rebecca, using the same method but using the smaller circles on the die.
Quick and easy flowers for that shabby chic look.
