This week I gathered all my left over pieces of paper that were sent to me from Bubbly Funk and I teamed them up with some A5 notebooks to create some gifts for my childrens teachers.
How to:
I have mainly used the papers from Kitschy Kitchen by Melissa Frances. The flowers were made by inking up some of the Maya Road kraft doilies. Then I added some Prima gems to the centres.
Winding some wire around a cocktail stick creates the little coils coming out of the flowers.
To make the flowers on the card, I simply cut out a circle and then cut a spiral in it. Next I rolled the flowers up before adding a dollop of glue to adhere it to the patterned paper on the card.
Well I hope this has given you a little inspiration if you are stuck for gifts for teachers ... after all we all need notebooks to doodle in ;)
