I seem to have been AWOL on this blog this month!
I have been away for a week - went to Looe in Cornwall. Gorgeous little place, and we stay in a really old cottage just up the hill from the harbour. On our first day there we spotted a regular visitor to the harbour - a seal! I managed to take some pics but he only popped his head up from time to time so it was difficult to actually get one but this is OK I think....
The locals reckon he is the son of a regular seal which visited Looe Harbour for 25 years and who died in 2003. They have actually just put a statue of him in the harbour, which is a nice addition since we visited last.
It was really cool to spot a seal I think. Quite a novelty for someone who hasn't seen one in real life (other than a zoo) before!
It was a relaxing week, and despite the cloudy days we were able to get out and about and did plenty of walking. The one member of the family who enjoyed the holiday to its fullest was Sam. Bless his heart he loves the rocks and sea......
I have a ton of lovely pics to scrap and now I am back home and gradually catching up on things I want to scrapbook some, so fingers crossed I can find the time!
