I suppose knowing that I am taking part in a challenge every week might actually make me remember to update by blog at the same time. Here's hoping!
We have set up a new blog to house just the challenges - its the Bubbly Scrumptious Challenges which is a spin off from the Bubbly Scrumptious Blog.
Bubbly Scrumptious is a daily blog and so the challenges were getting lost along the way so this should make it easier for all concerned. Go and take a look - there are weekly challenges every Sunday, and the first Sunday of the month is a monthly challenge with a prize!
This week the challenge is to create a project using a pin or pins. I made a card using some of the contents from the August Kit.

The green background paper was embossed with a Sizzix texture plate and the little chipboard bookplate was painted white and then whilst it was still wet I added a white sparkly embossing powder and heated. It started bubbling - must have been the paint - and it got very hot but the effect when cooled and dried was distressed and a bit messy. I'll do it again for a not-so-neat look.
