Letter from Breast Cancer Care

The letter received from Breast Cancer Care is below:

Final cheque has been sent to Breast Cancer Care......

......drumroll please!!!!.................

With the help of you fabulous peeps we managed to raise (excluding Gift Aid supplements) a grand total of

£5180.70

Give yourselves a HUGE pat on the back lovelies.

Our final fundraising effort

On Saturday 6th December Emma and I did our final market stall to sell the remaining cards and gifts that we had.  This is the last of the fundraising now so it's just a case of getting final figures.

The weather was fabulous and we had lots of people visiting the stall.

We managed to raise £115.40!

The total raised is now over £5000

I will update you with a final amount when we have it and let you know when we will be having the big cheque presentation.....planned for the new year but dates are not finalised yet.

We've compiled a breakdown of the funds raised in the Gift and Card Sale.  I'll copy and paste this in a separate page too so it doesn't get lost in the threads.

There are some items that have odd amounts i.e. the raffle takings should be divisible by £2 but we did have an element of foreign coins amongst our takings.

The BIG SALE day

Photos are on their way peeps.....watch this space.

We are counting up the money as we speak and the totals will be up very soon.

I can tell you that we raised approximately £3000.00 on the day of the sale, that doesn't include the other fund raising events that we have been having.

Well the big day is nearly upon us and it's been an incredible journey so far.  I have been overwhelmed by everyone's generousity and I feel honoured to know such wonderful people.
