Weekly Challenge #5: Pink and Black

It's Caroline's turn this week to set the challenge and here is what she said:

"My challenge this week is to use the colours Pink and Black to create cards for any ocassion. So the middle of the card would be kept blank for the person to write their own message, whatever it may be. The cards can be other colours as well, but should contain some pink and some black...."   Caroline

Extra Challenge: Chippie Ribbons

You really must buy one of the fabulous Think Pink kits now....there are 2 chippie ribbon logos in the kit and Karen has come up with a fantastic idea.  Why not decorate them to sell in the sale.....brilliant.  And don't forget you'll be doing a double helping of fund raising, every kit that is purchased generates £2 for the charity!!

You could attach a safety pin to the back and make a fantastic brooch.

Or why not add a magnet to the back so it can be used for a fridge magnet.

Or add a clip and it would make a gorgeous handbag charm.

Kaz has been quick off the mark with this and decorated hers already...you have to agree they look fabulous!

Weekly Challenge #2: Wedding and Anniversary cards

This week's challenge is to make 2 cards to celebrate weddings or anniversaires

I've chosen this theme because I'm asked to make this sort of cards more than any other type. I think people like to give something a bit differesnt and special to people on their Wedding Day, or those celebrating Silver/Ruby/Golden/Diamond anniversaries (and why not - it's quite an achievement!)

But I'm also asked to make other anniversary cards so I think having a selection of really nice handmade cards on offer at the Think Pink Sale would be a good seller!
