Fashion and scrapbooking sometimes catch up with each other when it comes to trends.
The curent trend for kitch can be seen in all the high street stores and supermarkets and the latest scrapbooking papers, chipboard and embellishments are bang on trend too.
So when I recieved these Maya Road kitchen pieces from Bubbly Funk I knew just what a girl had to do!!
Buy some more stash of course!!
...and start to kitch up that kitchen.......
.....however my excitement was short lived, due to the kitchen being re-plastered and my complete loss of scrapping space as I use the bench...yup the whole bench, in fact it's a long time since I have seen the worktop!!
The lounge has been consumed by the contents of my cupboards and my mile high pile of lovely Bubbly Funk pizza boxes has been replaced with greasy smelly pizza boxes, whilst the kitchen is out of action.
Oh dear I can't wait to start on the frilly bits but unfortunately along with crafting, life also requires a little sanding and painting time too:(
Hopefully next week I will be able to share the fruit of my spoils with you.
Enjoy your week whatever you get up to.
Love Ruth x
Awe Ruth...you have my every sympathy with your kitchen! Looking forward to seeing what you make XXX

Now I really can empathise with you Ruth as I am also having my kitchen remodeled. We were painting last weekend and now waiting for the joiner to finish and the electrician to come so I can have my cooker back. Two weeks without it already and it's too long! Love your Kitch bits, my mind is only now turning to how I will 'dress' my kitchen.

Good luck with the new kitchen Ruth. We did a bit of kitchen work in our old house and it was lovely in the end! We're now planning the one in this house and it's going to be a whole lot worse as we'll be knocking walls down this time...
Anyway, your project is already sounding and looking fab, so I'll be looking forward to seeing more next time
