Christmas - Upcycled Paint Tin

This months challenge for the Tando Creative Challenges blog is 'Cold As Ice', so I made upcycled a paint tin into a handy container with a Christmas theme.

I sprayed the can with some paint spray suitable for using on metal.  I found some sprays in my shed when I was clearing it out during the summer so I made the most of what I had and used this lovely creamy colour.

I then attached the Tando Creative Mask-Snowflake with masking tape to the tin and covered it in Viva Decor Terra.

Now, in hindsight I should perhaps have used some repositionable glue to secure the mask down better because parts of the snowflakes were sticking out.  But I did like the end result which was that some snowflakes were chunkier then others.  The Terra gives a lovely 3d coverage and dries hard.

You can attach some pearls and gems whilst the Terra is still wet or attach after using glue.

I've now got a handy container ready for Christmas!!  Actually, its the only thing I have ready for Christmas! :)
