I had a 50th birthday at the end of last year and didn't have a clue what to get, so I decided to make a 50th canvas!

This started life as a plain canvas, approx. 8" x 11".

With Christmas and beyond in mind I've been decorating some plain wooden pots in a shabby chic style.

These were plain wooden pots which I sanded down and then painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint and then decorated with snowflakes, reindeer, leaves, stars and more. Some were wooden shapes and some were Tando chipboard shapes.

Last weeks theme for the Tando Creative DT was Black and White with a splash of Colour!

I decorated this large peg and even though there may not be much colour added there is a little red around the edges.

The theme for the Tando Creative DT this week is Autumn Colours.

I love Autumn. It's my favourite season where its usually decent weather, not too hot and not too cold, and the foliage changes and you get to see some glorious colours in nature. And I also celebrate my birthday in October! Although maybe not too much celebrating the older I get, haha.
