Card - March Challenge

I love papercrafts but have to be in the mood and its especially rare for me to actually make two in one sitting!  But I did :)  and it was for the March Colour Theme on Tando Creative!

50th Ombre Canvas

I had a 50th birthday at the end of last year and didn't have a clue what to get, so I decided to make a 50th canvas!

This started life as a plain canvas, approx. 8" x 11". 

Masquerade

I've been having a play with a face mask, paint and a stencil!

This took a bit of time and a bit of patience to get right but I do like the effect with the stencil and Viva Decor Ferro.  I used the Tando Creative Andy Skinner stencil-Sunburst.

As the mask is curved to fit the face, I had to apply the Viva Decor in stages.  I did try applying it in one sitting but made a bit of a mess with the stencil moving, so started again and did it bit by bit.  Its not perfect, but I'm quite happy with the end result.  I added some black organza ribbon to finish it off.

Merry...

I've actually made a Christmas card.  Well two actually but not so happy about one of them.

The background on this one is made using the Joined Snowflakes Tando Creative stencil and the gorgeously glittery snowflake is die-cut, as is the 'merry'.

Every year I try and be a bit more ahead of myself and each year I am here in November annoyed at myself for not having made a start and mithering at how busy the next few weeks are going to be with me wanting to make EVERYTHING for the festive season. 

Realistically I am not going to have time to make all my cards, all my crackers, gorgeously wrap every single present, hand make decorations and prepare a wonderful centrepiece for the table, etc. 

Doesn't mean I'm not going to try though... :)

 

Home Decor - Large Peg

Last weeks theme for the Tando Creative DT was Black and White with a splash of Colour!

I decorated this large peg and even though there may not be much colour added there is a little red around the edges.
